Peace First Prize Winner Sarah started the first high school-based inclusive cheerleading squad in the nation in 2008. Soon her squad became so large she could no longer include everyone who wanted to participate. Sarah launched The Sparkle Effect so that other students and cheerleaders could create their own inclusive squads throughout the country. Watch Sarah's video with your class or family, and use our Video Discussion Guide to spark a conversation about peacemaking.
